Hi Grp
Can anyone tell me wats a difference between Active ftp & a passive ftp?
Please write me iits own don't give me names iof sites,
i found this in many sites but can't understood the difference.

Well its not a big deal, in passive connection the ftp client connects to the ftp server on port 21 and then server tells it that on which port they will do the transfers ie other than 21 . In active mode all tranfers are done on port 21 .
