Hi,

  What yahoo file would be?

If you are pertaining to Yahoo Messenger, it is hard to block it on iptables due it also uses port 80, also there are so many ports that ym uses. You can use squid to block it, I know there is a topic here under this subject that you can find helpful on blocking ym.

First of all , try transfering file using yahoo messenger and see what resources are used by it, if it is using some particular ports etc then simply block them. And if it is using port 80 then I am afraid as you can't do anything.
