Linux LiveCDs can be rapidly deployed in Windows without restarting the computer or burning a CD based on the free MobaLiveCD Windows software. It is very lightweight (only 1.6 MB) for an operating system emulation environment and is based on QEmu. In the article published here http://www.downloadtube.com/blog/2008/09/22/how-to-deploy-a-linux-livecd-on-windows-using-mobalivecd/ (http://www.downloadtube.com/blog/2008/09/22/how-to-deploy-a-linux-livecd-on-windows-using-mobalivecd/), you will find a short tutorial about how to manage Linux distributions as LiveCDs (ISO files) directly on Windows. A video demonstration for KIWI Linux LiveCD on Windows is also available.
