Post by: sathish on September 08, 2004, 03:09:04 PM
Hello Linux Team :o)

I am having Redhat 9.0 linux....done a routing.. if i give the command (netstat -a) the following information has been displayed.

Active UNIX domain sockets (servers and established)
Proto RefCnt Flags       Type       State         I-Node Path
unix  2      [ ACC ]     STREAM     LISTENING     1300   /dev/gpmctl
unix  2      [ ACC ]     STREAM     LISTENING     1333   /tmp/.font-unix/fs7100
unix  6      [ ]         DGRAM                    972    /dev/log
unix  2      [ ]         DGRAM                    1404
unix  2      [ ]         DGRAM                    1386
unix  2      [ ]         DGRAM                    1303
unix  2      [ ]         DGRAM                    980

I am not understanding what it is looking far ?? what is that I-Node Path ?? is it possible to disable like this type of connectivity i.e., listening ??

Plz let me know how to go with this.....

Thanks in advance

Sathish.
