i have squid installed all fine except icq and yahoo things and icq  :wink:
why ?? is there any solution  :roll:  :wink: ? and how can i solve this problem

Make sure u r have configured properly the preferences for both of the programs under their respective proxy settings. Does that help?

hv u implemented any acl rules for ur proxy server?
tell ur ACL rules here.

or check ur open ports by issuing command...
#nmap -p 1-65535 localhost

chech the port on which Yahoo msgner listen.
