Hello, I want to install Linux on my Laptop.  I was going to partition the drive and install Mandrake 9.2 or use Knoppix.  But then I ran into Dragon LInux.  What I am wondering is if anyone has tried it or knows about it?  Is it stable?  Any feedback would be great!

I have tried that.. It is good if you want to give try to linux without partitioning or dual boot. But if you are having winXP then it can cause little problem as u will need a floppy to boot to DOS to run the dragon linux. but win98 has no probs with it.
As it is not wilth latest library and other thing you will find yourself in difficulty in trying out the latest gui programes of linux..

I checked the Dragon Linux page, geez, it's kinda out of date
The website itself recommends using Knoppix. Why not try Gentoo intsead? Or even Fedora/Mandrake/Slackware? :)

Furthermore, all these distros give u the new kernel 2.6 to meddle with, muaahahahaha.
