i use suse linux 9.0. Linux doesnot detect any modem in my computer but the modem works fine with windows. Can any body heelp me on that? The modem i use in a dlink 56 k modem.

then I am afraid if you can make it work under linux. There are hardly chances for its device driver for linux but you can look for information over here --> http://linmodems.org/
