Yahoo Messenger not working in Fedora

Hi

I installed Yahoo messneger on Fedora core2 and worked with it for the first 2 days. Aftr that i couldnt connet to yahoo messenger. I tried by reinstalling Messenger(for Rh 9) but couldnt satrt the messenger.

Can somebeody help me.

Please try with following :
1) rpm -ivh http://download.yahoo.com/dl/unix/rh9.ymessenger-1.0.4-1.i386.rpm


result

   1:ymessenger             ########################################### [100%]

If you have get any errors,
Find the rpm

# rpm -qa |grep ymessenger
ymessenger-1.0.4-1

Then uninstall the rpm :
# rpm -e ymessenger

Then try to step 1.

Hi,
method of instaling yahoo massenger

1. Download yahoo massenger for unix/linux  from http://messenger.yahoo.com/
2.  For RHL 9.0 & FC you must be download massengers for Rhl 9.0. It will work in FC also.
3. Then you right click over mouse & open with instaling package .
4. then type your root passward .
5. Then it iwill automically install .
6. then click application >internet .
    on there you can see the yahoo massengers.
7. on clicliking there you will see lisences agreement ,
8. click " i  accpect " on there .
9. then click "finish" , (it will see automatically after insalling)
10. an icon will create on desktop.

                                           Alternatively , you can install it after download .

   2. Log in as root and type: rpm -i <filename> with the appropriate filename depending on your version to install the application.
   3. Run /usr/bin/ymessenger from X Window to launch the application.
FOR UNINSTALL
type the following coomand in terminal
# rpm -ev packagename
