  I want to configure squid as a child proxy to MS- Proxy . If u can provide configuration information, I will appreciate it.

Well., i have never used the MS - proxy but I think you need cach_peer ..
BTW.. if you can describe your requirements then i can suggest you more..

Thank you Ricky for your earliest reply. I am having a MS Proxy in my intranet( main proxy) and I want to implement another proxy server in another location using squid. In that case how I can configure squid as a child proxy to main MS Proxy.Expecting earliest reply from u

BTW...
You have asked the question in wrong forum.. it will be moved to Linux Server support forum.

I kno how to use squid with another squid but not sure abt intgration of it with others.. but following lines should work for u..
Add following lines in your squid.conf
Code: [Select]
cache_peer    parent     <domain or ip address of main proxy>  3128   7Here instead of your 3128 use the port on which MS proxy is running.
