how to limit ip address in my client? let say for example 192.168.1.1 so iwant to limit 192.168.1.4

your question is very confusing . which type of ristriction u want to inpose on ip

for your second question u can go through the proxy support section of this forum u can get a number of tutorial on squid.
and for the ristriction i am still not able to understand your need .
if u want that a perticular client should get a perticular address than it may be applied by dns as well as switches through which the connection is made based on the mac address of the interface.

Lito, your question is really unclear. You should clear as if you are talking about allowing access to only certain clietns or you want to allot only specified IPs to the client etc.

Hey I think that you are asking that  all clients on ur Network gets ip-range preallocated ..means no client gets the ip-address other than the ip-pool you set?
