want my LINUX machine as internet proxy server

Hi Friends,

My domain was created using win2k server.
All the machines connected are having virus and i couldn't able to manage.
So i have plugged out the server.
Now one of my machine (having win2k prof.) is acting as proxy server.
And no firewall. So I am facing many problems.

I want to install LINUX instead.

I have installed and worked in LINUX. But not n/w in LINUX.
Please help me.

If u want your linux machine as proxy server .. go for squid proxy server.

Secondly.. linux comes firestarter and other firewall software which  can make making firewall a fun...

So go for it.. and if any problem .. ask here..
