Bootable DVD
« on: August 28, 2008, 03:41:09 PM »
I am new in Linux world. As I was advised, I download about 9 GB of images, iso files... for Red Hat 9 installation. How can I create CD that will be recognized under Linux boot. I was able to create bootable floppy, but when I insert CD I am getting error message "Red Hat was not found in any of your CDROM drives...

Please, help... how to make right CD? :(

You should have downloaded various images of CD ie. ISO files. Now burn all those separately and then boot from first CD ie. image one..

That is simple.. there is nothing like that linux need special type of burned image. Just burn normally and you do not need floppy disk to boot.
