Hello i am linux beginner i want to set up internet connection in linux red hat linux 5 version ...please suggest me how to do it...& also how to install the software...

There are various way to configure internet but above all it depends upon the nature of connection you have.
So what internet connection you have ?

if you are working with UTP cable and network card , and if your network card is detected . you should be directly connected ,
