By default redhat will not support to access NTFS, you need to modify the kernel by installing RPM .. GO TO the following link and download the RPM.

http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/rpm/redhat8.html

and then just mount the NTFS partition which you want to use it !

it's giving error

i am installing the kernel rpm file but it's giving error

[root@shailu shailu]# rpm -ivh --force kernel-ntfs-2.4.20-27.8.i386.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
        kernel = 2.4.20-27.8 is needed by kernel-ntfs-2.4.20-27.8
[root@shailu shailu]#

so plz help me .
