Promise Fast Track onboard

Anyone install on a computer with a striped array? Mandrake 10.0 seemed to install fine but recognized the 2 drives I have as separate entities. When booting the computer, the onboard RAID controller still sees the drives as an array and I assume that it can't find the boot sector.
Help!

the first thing is to set up the disks at startup.
then start installing linux
when u come to the boot configuration
choose the advanced boot configuration button and add the parameters supplied by fastrack.
and continue normal installation.
when u reboot and see for the drives you will see only one harddisk
