There are three files in the cd: .scr.rpm, .rpm and .tar what sud I do?? Do i need to use all of them??? Keep one thing in mind that I don't have any previous experience of installing any progs or drivers in Linux. So plz be detailed as much as u can.

Untar the xyz.tar file (tar -xvf xyz.tar).Now delve into the xyz folder generated and look for a 'readme' and 'install' for detailed instructions on compiling and installing.
Good luck.
