Upgrading from Fedora to Redhat Enterprise

Hello,
Is it possible to upgrade from Fedora (FC4) to RedHat Enterprise (RHE) 3 without repartitioning the disk? Apparently
the disk doesn't allow the "upgrade" option and forces repartitions (sorry I'm kind of new to all this).
Thanks
T.

I have never tried RHEL but in fedora and RHL there is an upgrade option available. You may check that and it gives the list of new packagest to choose from and upgrades the previously installed packages.

Thanks. I have been updgrading since RH7 and yes, it seemed fine. That's why I was surprised not to see that option with RHEL. I'll read more and we'll see. Thanks again.
