hay i am new to linux... i need little help...i wanna use VMware in linux. my quistion is wat type of VM waer i should use coz there are many like wmware 4.0 or vmware workstation, etc etc... secondly..i want 2003 server to be installed in VMware so i can make network ,betwen my linux and server 2003 and vise versa .... just learning networking .... ..one more thing should i have to make some seperate partition for 2003 server as i have installed linux redhat9 and it work over swap space...OR i just install 2003 server thru VMware in swap space area.... Thank you! in advance for any sort of guidence and help

You can go for VMware workstation, its simple, you just need a lot of space on any of the partition on your hd under linux. It (vmware) will create sort of image on that of the client OS.
