Hi Lnx grp
Iam using redhat9.iam doing NATing in my box.Iam getting this error [SIOCGNIIPHY on "eth1" failed :operation not supported ] when iam using this command : "mii-tool" .Even it is saying like that ther is no problem in network .thus may i know why it is showing error
the NIC which is being used by me is 100 mbps card

It is a not big problem, it is only matter of mii-tool which is not able to recognise your card. so don't worry.
About status . use ethtool.
