I have a RH9 installed on a Pentium 3 Computer.Now I want to Upgrade it with a Pentium 4 2.6 MHZ Mother Board.Can I simply replace the motherboard?

Actually Linux is somewhat hardware dependent.., It may be possible that
RH9 will not work after upgradation..There is self hardware detector tool called KUDZU in Linux, which automatically detects hardware  ..,

I am not very  sure ,Just wait to get response from other Guys also..

there are more chances of it to refuse to even run.
You can do one thing, change motherboard, then using RH9 installation CD, run a upgrade.
