Firewall using NAT (after configuring transparent proxy)
« on: March 02, 2004, 04:54:06 AM »
After following all the procedure in Configuring Squid Proxy server & Transparent Proxy, how do i configure/write a firewall using the iptables ? it says in the tutorial to use a good firewall, but i don't know how to write one using iptables.

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

These days i m little busy.. I can post here the firewall i use but tutorial is different thing.. there you have to mention every thing that how and why and so on..  So I will write a tutorial with plenty of free time as well as mind.. Mean while you can go for "firestarter" a gui for IPtables.. infact very good.
Install that .. run wizard and good firewall is there..
