System Prompts For Driver Selection

Dear All,

Need your expertise in sorting out an issue:-

I installed Samsung CLX-2160 Laser MFP on CentOS 5.2 with driver obtained from Samsung's website.

All features are working ok. Only hitch is whenever printer is switched on, the PC prompts for "selecting suitable driver". If we press cancel, everything is okay.

Why every time the system prompts for driver selection as the driver is already installed and working ok ?[/u]

Can't say much but most probably its drivers at fault.

the driver may be supporting that printer but it would not be containing signature for the same that is why it may be showing that
