Connecting a linux workstation to windows server network

Good day all.
I have a a workstation running windows XP and Redhat linux. I can connect to my office network on the XP but i cant see the internet when i boot with the linux. I can only access local connection. Pls can someone help me on this. Thanks in anticipation of your response.

It depends upon your internet connection type.
Is your XP set to optain IP automatically.. just see IP settings for your XP and then set similar in redhat. Redhat has graphical interface to set IP address etc.
