Installing missing package from DVD rom after installation of Redhat 6

Hello,
I am very new to Linux. don't have any clue at all. I managed to install linux rdhat 6 using gui feature.
I have one pacake missing (library missing). How do I able install the library from DVD. Unfortunately I don't even know how to mount the CD. Could you please give me the step by command to install gcc 3.2 libraries.
It is missing compat-libstdc++ package.
