Hi !
Need help in resolving a problem:-
I have to install Oracle on CentOS 5 server remotely. The actual server is lying thousands of miles away. I am using xmanager on a windows machine to carry out the installation.
Every thing was going on well but when it came to assign IP address to the database, Oracle threw an error that the IP in use is using DHCP. It has to be static. On consulting at site sysadmin, it got revealed that the Public IP on which I was connecting through xmanager is actually the IP of the firewall installed at site. The private IP of the Oracle server is "NATTED" to public IP using the firewall.
My problem is -- How can I access the "private IP" that is behind firewall to complete the installation ?
Thanking In Advance.
