Hi
RPM command is not working in the linux system.
I tried to use rpm --rebuilddb but no luck for me solve thie issue.
Please let me know how can i fix the issue.

You need to define what is not working.
1. What's your Linux operating system.
Slackware - uses tarball to install.
Debian - uses .deb packages
Madriva/CentoS/Fedora/Redhat/Yellowdog - uses RPM
2. Are you a root user ?
Non-root users have restricted access to rpm commands.
3. Is rpm installed ?
# rpm [ENTER]
