Suggestion for a show of new postings on the forum page

Hi,
I am new to the forum and did not notice it if it is there already. I suggest that the forum should notify a user after he logs in of the new posts on all topics, since he last logged in. Alternatively it should show the last ten posts ( headins only) with the option to view all other new posts. I have seen something similar in the Knoppix forum.

Well.. Mr. Sahu.. All u suggested are already here..
1. Last active post can be found at main page of the site..
2. As soon as u logged in u will find in the right upper corner of the forum index wht u are asking for...  all is here..

Any more suggestion.. !!
