what do you mean by unable to configure the card ? is it not dectected or you don't now how to assigne ip address etc to it ? btw there is YAST available in SuSE .. it can do most of the work for you in SUSE ..

my card is detected but the problem is i am not able to open any site. thou i can ping my ISP.

i tried that /etc/resolv.conf thing too but all i cud login in my LISP account.
my ip=>  172.16.4.29
server=> 172.16.0.1
DNS=>    202.63.188.2

now tell me how to make that resolv.conf file.

i hv configured everything from YaST. but the problem persist.
