I have installed REDHAT 9.0, while I configuring the Xwindows, given the command in console mode...
#redhat-config-xfree86
its blinks and stops for a while and gives the following result..
* ddcprobe returned bogus values:

xconf.py :Fatal IO error 2 (Connection reset by peer) on XServer:17.0.
I am not able to configure X-Windows.. what is the prob?? Plz help me.
